A girl of the Karo Tribe in front of the Omo river valley
The Karo tribe is the smallest tribe of the Omo Valley with an estimated population of 3.500. They live along the east bank of the Omo river and are famous for their body painting. They use white chalk, colored ochre, charcoal and yellow mineral rock for the paintings and add natural decoration elements as flowers, leaves and feathers.
Moments I caught with my camera, composed and drawn back home in Vienna.
